About Project

Upper Balephi-A Hydroelectricity project is a run-of-river (RoR) type project located in Sindhupalchok district, central Development Region of Nepal. The project will have an installed capacity of 36MW. The proposed power House of the project is located about 20km upstream of the confluence of Balephi and Bhoteloshi River. The Balephi Khola is one of the major tributaries of the Bhotekoshi River. The project is located in Jugal Rular Municipality, Sindhupalchowk District of Bagmati Province of Nepal. The major project structures lie in three wards namely Jugal 2,3 & 4 of  Jugal Rular Municipality,  of Sindhupalchowk District.
